There’s only one thing worse in this universe
And that’s no Aunt Jemima at all
 
I miss you, I miss your smiling face and I wish you
Were here.
You were taken, I don’t understand.  The reason
Is unclear
To me, you were everything that was good in this world.
It was all ok for years and years and years since
I was a little girl
 
Oh, Aunt Jemima.  Where did you go Aunt Jemima
 
How prophetic was that jingle so long ago
And I wonder if he wouldn’t be a little surprised to know
That things are worse in this universe
 
Oh Aunt Jemima.  Where did you go Aunt Jemima
 
I’m not tryin’ to make anybody feel bad or depressed
I’m just sayin’  maybe we should give political correctness a rest.
 
            So things won’t get worse in the Universe
 
            Oh Aunt Jemima.  Where did you go Aunt Jemima
            And your brother Ben.  Aunt Jemima.  And the girl by the lake
